The great commission, spoken by Jesus in Acts 1, Matthew 28, and Mark 16 is the clearest ‘mission statement’ that he ever made, and it speaks to both our evangelism and our discipling of those to whom the Lord leads us. In this weekend, we will cover both of these topics, seeking to uncover both theological and practical facets of our outreach and discipling.
Dave became a disciple in 1976 through the work of the campus ministry at the University of Florida. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in English and completing a ministry training program, he entered the full-time ministry and has served for almost 40 years in churches all over the U.S. and Canada. He is currently lead evangelist for Rise Church in Indianapolis.
